Reunions & 2017 tour
Reunions & 2017 tour

We have 41 registered for the Reunion, so if you are thinking about coming and need a site at the KOA, contact me soon as space is getting limited.

Thunder Bay is the chosen site for the 2012 western reunion and it will be held on August 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, 2012.  I’m sure some would like to spend the week, Dorothy and I probably will be there from the 20th to the 27th.

I haven’t heard from anyone interested in hosting the reunion so Warren Rogalsky and I are working on the details.

We have booked a block of sites at the KOA camp, do not contact them directly about reservations as we are negotiating a special group rate and will prepay the selected sites. We would like to stay as a group and have the smaller units double up if possible.  If you plan on attending give us a heads up as the information is needed before the end of December so we will be asking for a deposit from those attending.  We still don’t have a total cost of the reunion as there is some meals, tours etc. to be planned and we are open to suggestions, ideas and events wanted.  Those that want KOA Kabins act fast as they only have a few, also if you need 50 amp service for your RV this is a separate part of the park and this info is needed.

Once again those who email me to register for the reunion will receive emails with updated agenda information, and a reminder that the web site www.coasters2010.com  is paid until 2017 so some information will be available on the Reunion page.

If you know someone who doesn’t use email or our facebook page please pass the information on to them.

Warren Rogalsky and I are working to make this another memorable event; it will be great to see everyone again.

MOTEL
I received this from the Thunder Bay Vistors Centre
The closest motel to the KOA Campground is the Strathcona Motel.  Not sure if you are aware or not, but the KOA campground also has fully-equipt cabins that they rent out.  The Strathcona motel's information is below.  After the Strathcona, anyone wanting a motel would have to go to one of our motels on Cumberland St.

Remember there is a tentative reunion planned for 2014 in Eastern Canada

This is the page where you can keep track of updates on future reunions and the 2017 50th Anniversary tour from Victoria, British Columbia to St. John's, Newfoundland..

We have had lots of positive comments, Thank you for your support, Dorothy and I feel honored to be asked to be the Coordinators of the 2017 Anniversary tour and assist with the Reunions.

We have seven years to get our vehicles in top shape, so that gives me six to think about it.....

So give me some feedback on the updated site, is anybody looking at it. Your suggestions  are welcome...
